When it comes time to replace your projector’s lamp, we strongly recommend buying from an authorised Australian dealer. Recently we’ve had feedback from a few customers who have purchased either “3rd party lamps” or fake “genuine lamps” online from overseas – sometimes for half the price of the genuine lamps sold here in Australia. We’ve had reports from some customers saying these lamps last a couple of months, or have even exploded during use. There’s also the possiblity of damage to your projector.

We understand that most people like a bargain, but many of these replacement lamps sold online overseas are dodgy, and there’s no way to know before purchasing. Hence we strongly recommend purchasing genuine manufacturer lamps sold by authorised dealers here in Australia.
