One of the common ways to determine the correct screen size for your viewing distance is as follows:
Full-HD Resolution – 2 x screen size = Viewing Distance. For example, a 100” screen would require you to sit 200” away from the screen, or around 5m away.

4K Resolution – 1.5 x screen size = Viewing Distance. For example, a 100” screen would require you to sit 150” away from the screen, or 3.8m away.

4K resolution allows you to sit closer, and consider larger screens, thanks to the increased resolution.

We recommend that you use this method as a guide only, and that the best way to choose your screen size would be to visit us in store and experience it for yourself! Many will agree that bigger is better and feels much more cinematic, so there is nothing wrong with disregarding the formula and getting the biggest screen you can get!
